General Manager- Bill Countryman
General Manager Bill Countryman received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1993. Bill began his career in radio as an Account Executive in sales at a station in Sherman, Texas in 1995. He and his partners formed Keystone Broadcasting in 2001 with the purchase of KEOR in Atoka, followed by KHKC in Atoka and KMAD AM in Madill. In 2005 KICM was added followed by KZRC (Mix 96.1 Durant) and KZIG 107.5 FM Atoka.
Over the years Bill has been involved with several organizations. He has served on the Lake Texoma Association Board, Durant, Denison, and Sherman Chamber Board of Directors, the Healdton Chamber Board, Communities in Schools board, and the HFV Wilson Center. Bill currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Broadcasters Association.
Growing up and raised in Bryan County, his company's focus is on small town Oklahoma radio. His belief to serve the community is reflected by getting back to the roots of radio by carrying area basketball, football games, and community events promoting all that Southern Oklahoma has to offer.
